Oh gosh! Open House time

This was my look for yesterday when I was attending my son's Open House at his school.  I realized I haven't touched my Inglot, and Sugarpill items for a few days since the new hauled in items.  And had to go, and do those.

Nail Polish: Milani One Coat Glitter - Twinkle, Lavender, & Pink Flare

In my little box of goodies from Milani Cosmetics, there were these three One Coat Glitter nail polishes, that are new to their One Coat Glitter polish family.

Review: Milani Cosmetics Haute Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Lipgloss - Flashy

For the look I did today, I picked up a random Milani Cosmetics's Haute Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Lipgloss in my stash, without even looking.  And I ended up grabbing their lipgloss shade Flashy.

Review: Milani Cosmetics - Paint Eyeshadow Palette

Since the first time I saw people posting about this, I was intrigued with the way it looks in the pan. So glad this, and two of Milani's other eyeshadow palettes, came with my prize.
Just looking at the pan it looks so beautiful.  So eye catching, and different from all the eyeshadow palettes you normally see with drugstore brands, or with what Milani usually carries.  They go for $7.99 at the moment.
This eyeshadow palette is their Paint palette, for obvious reasons of course.

L.o.t.D moment with Milani

Today's look was focused on Milani Cosmetics' Paint Eyeshadow Palette, which I received from their giveaway.  I will have another post focused on the palette swatches soon.

Nails done? OH YEAH! Check!!

So today's nails were inspired by Nails Adored, but I ended up doing something different with it.  I decided to do the tie-dye trick I learned from my awesome friend Emily (A VERY creative nail artist <3).
I layered polish colors using Nails Adored way, and allowed it to dry.  I then took a cotton swab, and dipped it into a bowl I had poured some acetone in.  From there I gently rubbed it upon the nail to lift some of the polish off.  Simple, and very fun to do.

Nail Polish: New Milani Jewel FX - Fuchsia, Teal, Lavender, Hot Pink, & Red

Thank you Milani for giving me these!  I am not really a fan of glitter items, mostly cause how it's such a pain to remove it (foil trick FTW!), but I was fine with these.
Listed from left to right:
  • Lavender
  • Red
  • Fuchsia
  • Teal
  • Hot Pink
The three from the left, have the Jewel FX logo on it, but the two on the right side do not.  Though they are still part of Milani Cosmetics' Specialty Nail Lacquer Jewel FX family.
When I was looking at all the wonderful nail polishes I have received from them, I knew I had to bang out the Jewel FX polishes first.  The glitters look so gorgeous swirling around inside that bottle.  On their site, the polishes go for $4.99 each.
Milani Jewel FX - Fuchsia
Milani Jewel FX - Red
Milani Jewel FX - Lavender
Milani Jewel FX - Hot Pink
Milani Jewel FX - Teal
Don't they just look gorgeous in the bottles?
These were only one coat, to show how it would look when you first apply it.  I actually prefer it this way than having a massive amount in one brush.  You could build up on these chunky glitters!  I love how the Fucshia, Lavender, and Teal are.  They have large and small glitter particles in it.
This was two coats of the polish, and I am in total awe with it.  They look gorgeous glistening in direct SoCal sunlight, or well what sunlight I had at the time haha.
  • Fucshia - large and small particles of fucshia glitters
  • Red - large red glitter
  • Lavender - large and small particles of lavender glitters
  • Hot Pink - large hot pink glitter with a mixture of silver holo graphics
  • Teal - a mixture of chunky blue, teal, & silver holo glitter with small glitter particles
So I took the two polishes that I liked the most and threw it over a random polish that I also received from Milani.
The base color is another new nail polish from them.  It's called Mint Candy, which I will post later on this week about it.  Super gorgeous color!  The Jewel FX I picked was Lavender and Teal.  My middle finger was a mixture of the two of them on one nail.  So you could totally combine glitter coats!

A great item to pick up if you're a chunky glitter lover!  These will look killer with a matte top coat polish over it!  You'll see me doing that in the future!

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonder polisholic day <3
