Review: BornPrettyStore 11 Pieces Hello Kitty & Snow White Nail Art Water Decals

Today I have a wonderful product to show you from BornPrettyStore.  It is an eleven pieces Hello Kitty and Snow White nail art water decals.

I loved how this had a nice variation of Hello Kitty, Snow White, and flowers.  Oh I almost forgot there is a chubby kitty I am assuming.  It looks more of a cookie jar sort.
You get one big sheet with eleven different kind of designs that contain twenty images each.  So you're basically getting 220 nail art water decals.  How crazy is that?

As I began inspecting the images more, I realized that there were + and - symbols and it hit me "Oh!  Cut it up into sections."

Which seemed much more easier and very convenient since it won't take up much space any more.  How pretty do those images look?  Not to mention you could see the details so well and there are no mistakes that I could see.

These are not nail stickers: peel off the image off the sheet and place it directly on to your nail.  These are water decals:  think of it as temporary tattoos basically.

On the back of the package it actually has the instructions of how to use the water decals.  Which is really great since some people aren't really sure how to do so.

I decided to pick these two designs and use them in my nail look for the week.  They look like roses to me.  I love how colorful these decals are.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to use water decals:

Basically what you need:
  • A cup/bowl of water obviously
  • Scissors
  • Your nail art water decal sheet.  NOT STICKERS!
  • Paper towel or tissue
  • Tweezers is optional
  • Your nails done
  • Top Coat nail polish to seal your decal in.
What I mean by your nails done is basically your base.  For my base I did a quick gradient look with Caronia On the Go, and Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure  So Much Fawn.

Before you begin remove the plastic sheath layer that is located on top of the nail art water decals.  If you do not remove it, the image might attach to the plastic sheath and you will not be able to remove it.  So make sure you take it off before you begin dipping the water decal into the bowl of water.

Next cut out the design you want for each finger and set them to the side.

Dip your decal into the water carefully, and let it sit in there for a few seconds.  Be sure that your decal does not bob to the bottom or side.  You'll have issues trying to lift it out.
Take out the decal with tweezers or you could use your finger.  Make sure to grab on to the excess sheet around the image and not grab onto the image directly.
Place the sheet image side down upon your finger (opposite hand of the nail you are going to be placing it on).
Slide the paper back and you will see the image upon your finger.  With the image finger angle it right to where you would want it on your nail.  Like how you use a stamper from a stamp plate rock your finger left and right on that area to put it.  Dab off any access water that may be on it with a paper towel or tissue paper.  Afterwards seal it with your favorite topcoat.

The reason why I suggest you to place a top coat before continuing on with any nail art work you would wish to do is because there are times where the water decal could still lift or move.  So it is a better to be safe than sorry sort of situation.

This was after putting on a top coat (Color Club Top Coat).  I then decided to grab my ORLY Nails for Males, which basically is their version of a matte polish.  It removes the shine but leaves the gloss.

I thought it sort of enhanced the water decals more.  Showing off it's true shade without the shine getting in the way.   The water decals on this sheet are the perfect sizes for your nails.  They aren't too small where you cannot tell what the image is, or too big for your nail bed.
