Today's review is something very different from my usual post. It's on a Lilly Brush that I received from iFabbo for review purposes. iFabbo is an international organization that works with fashion, beauty, and lifestyle bloggers and publishers. Make sure to check out iFabbo and join it. It'll take awhile to get an approval, but it never hurts to try.
Lilly Brush is designed to "SAVE OUR SWEATERS" by removing sweater pills that are made with natural fibers. For example: cashmere, wool, cotton, etc. Sweater pills are the ends of a knitted fiber becomes loose from the weave in the sweater. The friction across the loose ends begins to pull it further out until it forms a knotted bundle of fiber upon the surface of the sweater. While on artificial fibers (for ex. acrylic, nylon, and polyester) unsightly pilling is common and not easily solvable since it works to hold the pills tightly to the surface. The pills on a natural fiber sweater on the other hand, are shorter and much more fragile which causes the removal of pills safer and easier.
Lilly Brush is designed for on the go. So the brush has a cover for it that way you could shove it into your purse, glove compartment, etc.
It is super easy to use and shows wonderful results. The way you use it is by using moderate pressure, sweep the Lilly Brush briskly across your clothing or upholstery fabrics. For washable fabrics, dampen the Lilly Brush a little bit to avoid static electricity.
See the little fabrics on the bristles? Those are the sweater pills that came off of it. This is my favorite wool jacket I have.
It saved my husband's old cotton sweater he had. I was able to remove the majority of the sweater pills just by using the Lilly Brush!
I was simply amazed by how easy and useful this product was. I would of wasted more sheets from a lint roller, or spent more money at a dry cleaner to have it done. After you have cleaned your sweater, or you see fit, make sure to clean the brush. Simply take your Lilly Brush, wash it with a light soap, rinse, and tap off the excess water. Make sure the bristles are dry before placing the cover back on upon it.
Lilly Brushes could be bought upon their website, or you could find it on Amazon. They cost $12.95 for each brush and will last you a long time! There are two colors for the brushes, a red and a black.
What do you think of the product? Have you tried it out yet?
Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope you have a wonderful day!
