Review: SUPER BLACK Lacquers - Sweet Tooth

Today I would like to share with you SUPER BLACK Lacquer's gorgeous glitter polish called Sweet Tooth, which I received from ND for review purposes.  SUPER BLACK Lacquers is still a fairly new Indie nail polish line, and I am sure they will become super popular in no time.  If you have not checked out ND's nail polishes yet you are missing out!  She has awh-mazing holos, glitters, and solids (shimmer & creams). SUPER BLACK Lacquers is a 4-free meaning it does not carry Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, and Formaldehyde Resin.

You might of heard of ND (Natalie Dee) before her comics t-shirts.  You might of seen her work floating around on Tumblr.  I didn't realize she was that same Natalie Dee til I read someone's post mentioning her comic drawings.  So check her other sites as well!  Not to mention, she was very helpful and über friendly!

So back to Sweet Tooth!

I was so excited to have received Sweet Tooth in my review package.  The above image was taken in different lighting areas.  I could not stop gazing at how gorgeous the glitters sat in the violet mixture.

Straight out of the box!  How gorgeous does that look in the sunlight?  As I was taking my pictures my mom stated that it reminds her of Ube (a Filipino dessert).  haha silly mom!

Yes...I take my pictures of products that are for reviews as soon as possible.  So that way when I start to play with them, I don't have to worry about the use look.  I have made the mistake before where I bought an eyeshadow palette and I wanted to do a review on it.  But I got so excited to play with it that I ended up doing my swatches first.  So since then I always made sure if I wanted to review something, take pictures of the product before it is used.  And if it's not something I am feeling, then I won't do a review on it.  Okay I need to stop babbling.  SORRY!

Sweet Tooth is a lovely violet jelly base that is packed with multi-colored holo hex glitter (green, yellow, red,  purple, blue and pink), and coarse micro glitter (teal).  You could achieve opacity within 2-3 coats!  Indoors it seems violet, but in direct sunlight it looks more like a true purple shade.  Just super gorgeous!  As you are layering this jelly base polish, still shows off the previous layers of glitters.  No need to go fishing for glitters cause you will pick up a ton as you pull out the brush from the bottle.  If you don't want a lot of glitter on your first go, I suggest you swipe off the excess.  Cause this is a glittery bomb goodness!

My pinky has two coats of Sweet Tooth.  While my middle and index finger has three coats.  It glided on very smoothly, and I didn't have any hassles with it what so ever.  Just add a top coat to smooth out the polish when you're done.

For my ring finger, I have another one of SUPER BLACK Lacquers' nail polishes on.  I used Hello, Officer as the base, and dabbed on one side and part of the tip with Lombard.  Both are gorgeous polishes, and I will have a review on both of them in the next coming days.  The studs, rhinestones, and microbeads are all from BornPrettyStore.

I love nail polish bottles that are this shape, because it is very easy to store.  Her nail polishes come in .61 fl oz (18ml) bottles.  Each of SUPER BLACK Lacquers' nail polish are $12 a piece and US shipping is $3 for the first bottle, and $1.70 for additional.  HOWEVER if you order five bottles, there is a flat rate for $9 on shipping.  Seems pricey but well worth it!  The formula is just wonderful!

To follow what is going on with SUPER BLACK Lacquer you could check them out on:

If you love glitter and jelly polishes, make sure to check out Sweet Tooth!

What do you think of Sweet Tooth?  Have you picked up any of SUPER BLACk Lacquers' nail polishes yet?  Is there one that you are eyeing?

Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope you have a wonderful day!
