[CLOSED] Review: Joby Nail Art - California Nail Sticker + a Mini GIVEAWAY!

Hello sweetie!  I received a sample of nail art stickers from Joby Nail Art, for review purposes, and I decided to go with the California nail sticker one.  For obvious reasons!  They were kind enough to give me an extra to do a giveaway with.  So instead of just having the other nail art sticker, I added a little bit more.  Details will follow after the review.

Joby Nail Art is an online shop that carries a variety of colorful and unique nail art stickers at a very budget friendly cost.  All of their domestic shipping is free!  The Joby Nail Art website is very user friendly!  Everything is nicely organized into sections & you won't get easily lost.

As I stated earlier I decided to pick the California nail art sticker, since well I am a Cali girl!  A nice way to show some love for California with nail art.

The California nail art sticker has eight repetitive images:

  • Cali
  • California state shape
  • California Golden Bear
  • I <3 CA
  • I <3 LA
  • California Love
  • California Girl
  • Hollywood with three stars

At first I wanted to match these with what is so awesome about California.  But then I realized I didn't want to take the attention out of the nail art sticker.  The best thing about nail art stickers are that they are so versatile.  You could do so many designs with them.  You could either go with just a base color or a simple gradient design.  The options are endless and is all up to the person who wears them.

For my thumb and pinky, I did a simple saran wrap over a base color.  For my thumb I used Milani Cosmetics nail lacquer - A Juno for the base.  I then took a piece of crumpled up saran wrap, and dabbed on China Glaze - For Audrey and Sinful Colors - Unicorn over it.  For my pinky it was basically the same thing except I used Duri Cosmetics - Dream Catcher for the base, and A Juno was dabbed on.

For my index finger, the base color is Wet n Wild - Sugar Coat.  I swiped a thin coat of Milani Cosmetics nail lacquer Jewel FX - Fuchsia over the base color, and then focused on the tip by dabbing more of this glittery goodie over it.  I then took Milani Cosmetics Nail Lacquer One Coat Glitter - Pink Flare and dabbed a little bit on the tip.

For my middle finger I did a quick gradient of Sinful Colors - Unicorn, Milani Cosmetics nail lacquer - A Juno, and China Glaze - For Audrey.  I then topped it off with Sinful Colors - Pearl Harbor.

For my ring finger, I wanted to show the simplicity.  As soon as I saw the "I <3 LA" I instantly thought about the shirts tourists would buy.  I used Milani Cosmetics High Speed Fast Dry nail lacquer - White on the spot.

I was actually impressed with their nail art sticker.  It was easy to remove it off of the plastic sheet, and did not rip when I bent the sheet a bit to take it off.  If you did not rub them onto your nail yet, you MIGHT be able to readjust it.  IF your layers are still wet, it will peel your polish.  So please try to aim correctly when doing so.

The designs were very clear and I saw no mistakes on them.  They are not huge as you can see, so you will be able to do other nail art around them.  Even enhance a look more by adding studs/rhinestones/etc.

A lot of Joby Nail Art stickers cost $2.99, but they also carry combo packs as well for a cheap cost.  So head on over to their site to see what goodies you could grab up.

As I have stated earlier, Joby Nail Art was kind enough to give me another nail art sticker decoration to giveaway to one of my lucky followers!  I decided to add some items to the giveaway.
