Hello Lovelies! How is everyone doing? I hope you are all having a wonderful summer thus far! Today I have one of the new MISSHA Signature Complexion Coordinating BB Cream that hit the US market just last week to share with you, which was received for review purposes. MISSHA Cosmetics is a Korean brand that appeared in the US market back in 2009. They carry a wide range of beauty products: lipsticks, nail polish, BB cream, blush, etc.
**This product was sent to me from MISSHA US for review purposes. This is based upon my own experience with the product.
MISSHA-US carries two types of Signature Complexion Coordinating BB Cream SPF43/PA+++:
- No. 1 Pure Complexion: is a skin brightening white cream that is designed to adjust to a natural tone for a clear and glowing skin. Which is basically for those who prefer a very sheer coverage for a more enhanced natural skin rather than the cover up type.
- No. 2 Flawless Complexion: is a flaw correcting beige cream that is designed for a clear and smooth skin. This one is for those of us who are looking for some coverage.
The one I will be sharing with you is the No. 2 Flawless Complexion. Can you believe a CC Cream and BB Cream in one? Simply awwwhhh-mmaaazzing!
I was attracted by the package so much, that I actually saved it and put it with the rest of the packages that I thought were too cute to throw away. Am I the only one who does that? I thought the combo of black and gold was always pretty ever since I was little. My mom use to have a coffee and end table that was black and gold. So this packaging instantly reminded me of those days when I was young.
It comes in a matching cylinder container that is 50ml. You basically pull the top off. It doesn't come off with such ease, but if a little toddler wants to open it, it'll happen. So make sure you put this in an area that they cannot get to it. Cause the next part of how this dispenses out might be fun for them!
It comes with a little sticker for the seal to protect it from any of the product coming out when you get it. But I was so excited to try this bad gal out, I threw it away. SORRY! So basically all you do is twist it! Super simple right? And honestly super fun for the little ones. I was even excited to just twist and twist to see how much of the product would come out. haha don't worry I didn't do that though!
I love that it comes in a twist which is so much easier than a squeeze since there are times I accidentally squeeze too much out of the tube. With this I could get the amount that I need without wasting more products. For clean up, I just take a wipe and clean up the gunk that is left on the container.
The product is a slight pinkish tone beige colour but it is designed to adjust towards your skin undertone (pink or yellow).
As you spread it upon your skin it starts to look flawless with a medium coverage with just one layer and doesn't give you a cakey look. As you could see in the above image the top half of my face has just one layer while the bottom part has a bit more to show you what happens if you apply a bit too much. So one to two layers will do wonders! I did not find it heavy at all.
This lasted about 5 1/2 hours with a powder over it. If you have oily skin, I would suggest using a setting powder on it. Because if not this will not hold for you. It does have a scent to it but I didn't find it really overwhelming or irritable to me at all. If you plan on checking out this product and is super sensitive to smell, grab a sample.
Both of the creams have an Inner and Outer Complexion Coordinating Systems for your skin's needs. This product has the benefits of a CC Cream with the coverage of a BB Cream. The benefits of this skin product are that it corrects skin tone, firmness, whitens, evens skin texture, soothes, moisturizes, restores glow to dull skin, and anti-aging.
- Inner Complexion Coordinating
- Brightening Effect - Pomegranate Extract and Arbutin
- Firming - Peptide and Adenosine
- Moisturizing - Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Water
- Soothe the Skin - Phytoncide and Cactus Flower
- Outer Complexion Coordinating
- Improve Skin Tone - Triple Layered Color Capsules
- Skin Wrapping Powder - for correcting flaws
- Light Scattering Powder - To even your skin tone and texture.
Seriously the best of both worlds in this lovely No. 2 Complexion Coordinating BB Cream from MISSHA! This product is actually one of MISSHA's high end line since they cost about $35 upon their site, but keep in mind its a combination of a CC and BB Cream! So you're basically buying 2 for the price of 1!
If you head over to MISSHA-US right now, they are having a sale until July 7th where everything is up to 75% off all items. The Complexion Coordinating BB Creams right now are 30% off. The only item that isn't at a discount price is the M Perfect BB Cream which is...Get this! BOGO Free! YUP! Awesome sale huh?
And I can't forget to mention, you could receive a free gift if you spend the amount shown in the picture above.
