Review: Star Crushed Minerals' Blushes - Light Primrose, Peachy Sheen, Mauve-o-lous

Today I have some blushes to show you from my gal Edith's shop, Star Crushed Minerals, which was sent to me for review purposes.  She created Star Crushed Minerals based upon her past experience with cosmetics.  She wanted something more natural and healthy instead of having high end cosmetics.  And let me tell you, her products are fabulous and I have not broken into pimples since using them.

The top jar is Light Primrose, and the bottom two (left to right) is Perfectly Peach and Mauve-o-lous.  These are sample sizes which contain 1g of product.  Can you believe that all her samples come in jars AND sifters?!  Honestly love that it comes like that instead of the typical ziploc bags.  As most of you know are a pain at times!  Her full size carries 2.5g of product.

The samples being 1g is a lot of product that you could wear the blushes for several looks.  You could either build upon it or dust a light amount to give you a hint of color.

All of the jars come with a seal when you get it.  So you don't have to worry about product being all dispersed out of the jar.

Please excuse the under blur and add on of names.  When these were received they were pre-release samples and were named differently.  The shades have been added with the accurate name and are still the same fabulous product for SCM!

Light Primrose is a matte pale lilac-pink shade.  Over my skin it adds a little hint of pinkness, which I find perfect for those days I want to do the natural slash no makeup look.

Peachy Sheen is a light peach shade that has a pink undertone.  It has some shimmer in it, but  I didn't find it overwhelming at all.  This blush is way too pretty!  Upon my skin it turns a bit more pink which I loved!  This gave me the natural pink cheeks I would get when I get a little bit hot.

Mauve-o-lous is a deep mauve shade that has a slight shimmer to it.  Is a wonderful blush that I have been using for the night on the town or add just a little bit to give my cheeks more color.

I love that you do not need a lot of product and they are so easy to work with.  They blended on my cheeks smoothly.  These are nicely pigmented so be careful you do not build up too much where your cheeks come off as overly done.

There are other shades that Star Crushed Minerals carry.  All of Edith's products are 100% natural and handmade!  She also carries eyeshadows, blush, and a lovely eyeshadow primer.  I swear its like every few days she comes out with new shades & products!

She is still having a sale right now where all her products are 50% off, and not to mention....

You lovely people get another 15% off your purchase!  With the code 15OFF15 which she was so kind enough to give to me to give to you!!

If you always wanted to try an indie makeup or just mineral makeup in general, make sure to swing on over to Star Crushed Minerals especially now since they are seriously budget friendly on the wallet right now.
