Review: BornPrettyStore 2 Way Waterproof Crayon Eyeliner Gel/Pencil Smoothing Smoky Make Up

Today for my review I have an eyeliner I received from BornPrettyStore that is a 2 Way Waterproof Crayon Eyeliner Gel/Pencil Smoothing Smoky Make Up.  If you never knew that BornPrettyStore also sold cosmetics, well now you do.  They sell a wide range of products:  nail art decoration, eyeshadow, false nail tips, lipstick, phone cases, circle lenses, and BB cream just to name a few.  Their website is very easy to navigate around and you will soon find yourself adding items to your shopping cart.

This eyeliner is from the company Landbis and it is their Long Lasting Liner in black.  It states that this last 24 hours, but I have not tested this product for a whole 24 hours.

I have tried other dual-use sort of eyeliners before, but something would always fall short of meeting my expectations.  This on the other hand, took me by surprise.

**This item was received for review purposes and in no way am I entitled to give it a positive feedback.  This is based upon my own experience.

One side is a cream stick twist sort of pencil.  This did not have any difficulty when I was applying it.  It was very smooth and glided on nicely.  First application, was very pigmented on the bottom line.

The other side is a felt tip liner that is more of a liquid liner to me.  It has precise precision with its 0.1mm tip. The felt tip isn't very stiff at all, it has some flimsy-ness to it.  I find that very nice since it didn't give me that irritated feeling as I was applying it.  It glided on smoothly and a nice solid black on first application across my lid.  You could even work on your inner corners much neater with how thin it is.

Top part (except the smiley face) was with the twist pencil and the bottom part and smiley was with the felt tip side.  I did the top part and part of the bottom part over NYX Eyeshadow Base White.  It glided on smoothly and I was so surprised with how pigmented it was.  I was worried the pencil side might disappoint me, but I was wrong.  It was such a wonderful black black color that I love with eyeliners!

As usual I began to run my swatches under cold water for a few seconds then switch to warm water.  It's my way of testing if an eyeliner is indeed waterproof.

I began to rub my arm vigorously with warm water and the eyeliner began to start coming off.  I then took hand soap to wash it off more.  It took a while before it did so, but I still believe this is waterproof since I am sure we won't be rubbing our eyes when we are wearing it.  Not to mention it won't look like our eyes are melting when water hits it.

I was super amazed by the twist pencil side, that even when the felt tip liner removed entirely the pencil was gone but you could still make out the word.  Which really did surprise me since I normally experience something like that with liquid eyeliner instead.

This has really replaced my current dual-use eyeliner in my cosmetic bag, and has instantly become my favorite product to use for November.

Here are two eye looks that I have used the product in:

I used the Milani Cosmetics Paint Eyeshadow Palette mostly the orange, purple, blue, pink, white and yellow to achieve this look.  It was applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion Original and NYX eyeshadow base white.  The mascara is Rimmel London Sexy Curves Black.

The eyeshadows on this one was from the Wet N Wild Drinking a Glass of Shine using only the browns, and then I grabbed a golden sun sort of yellow from my BH Cosmetics 1st Edition palette.  Used a Milani Runway Lashes black for the mascara.  Just like the other look these were done over Urban Decay Primer Potion Original and NYX Eyeshadow Base White.

I loved how easy it was to maneuver with the felt tip side and how pigmented both the liners are.

If you are looking for an inexpensive eyeliner that is very pigmented and long lasting, I would suggest this eyeliner for you.  Trust me you won't regret it!  This 2 Way Waterproof Crayon Eyeliner Gel/Pencil Smoothing Smoky Make Up from BornPrettyStore only cost $3.42 with free shipping, which is just wonderful since most of my eyeliners cost more than that just for one (for example:  Sephora Collection Kohl Eyeliner = $9).  You basically get two liners in one for such a low price.  If you love eyeliners as much as I do, it doesn't hurt to check this one out.

You could also use the code BornPrettyStore was kind enough to offer to get a 10% off your purchase.  Simply just enter "LARJ61" when asked for a coupon code.

What eyeliner is your favorite in November?  Do you prefer liquid, gel, or pencil eyeliner?  What color of eyeliner do you always grab for?

I hope you enjoyed this post, and thank you for checking into my blog.  Have a wonderful day beautiful <3
