Review: theBalm Nude'Tude Eyeshadow Palette

If you love neutral eyeshadows, and want a palette that has a little bit more color variation, then you should check out theBalm's Nude'tude palette.
It has been on my list of wants for awhile now, but the only thing that had stopped me from obtaining it is well...if you know me, I love color!  Recently though a friend of mine Emily has got me into neutrals again.  So it peeked interest to me once again.  I then noticed theBalm was doing a daily giveaway on their Facebook and Twitter accounts, which by the way is still going on, so I decided to take my chances.  I ended up winning on Twitter from them!
I was super excited, and messaged them right away.  After being a pain in the arse of lack of patience, I had finally received it.  Eryn was even kind enough to toss in a Stainiac in the package.  So thank you for that!

Review: NYX Eyeshadow Base White

NYX Cosmetics' Eyeshadow Base in the shade white is my favorite eyeshadow base to use.  It usually cost $7, but sometimes you can catch it on sale at areas that carry the NYX Cosmetics product.  Very budget friendly, since one small pot could last you so long!

Oh Mail Oh My!

Here's what came in the mail this week:
I earned a perk on Klout.com** for Veet Wax Strip Remover.  If you haven't heard of Klout, you should definitely check them out especially if you are a blogging type of person.  I thought it was just a sample I would receive, but I ended up getting an actual full size package of it.  40 sheets, which I saw at Target for $8 sum.

The next item I received was the item I have been waiting for since I found out I won!
Eryn, from theBalm, was so kind, especially since I was a pain in the arse for being impatient (thanks again doll), that she threw in Stainiac Beauty Queen.  As some of you know, I already have it, but I am seriously loving it!  If you know me I hate wearing lippies, except for lip balms and such.  This was the first lip stain that I actually loved!  Nude'tude was on my want list for awhile now.  So glad they gave us all the opportunity to win something.  WHICH by the way is still going on!

All you have to do is Tweet @theBalm and one item you want from them, or you can go to their Facebook Fan Page and post on their wall the one item you want from them as well.  This happens every weekday!  So get at it, and good luck!

Which item should I do a review on first?

**Under no obligation did I receive this item or talk about Klout.  I will not get any additional benefits for talking about the product or company.

L.o.t.D. Evening Play Around

Here's the second look I did last night.
Purple, and a shade of light blue, is one of my favorite combos to do on my lil ol' brown eyes.

L.o.t.D. Play Around Moment

Yesterday I actually decided to shell out two looks for fun!  I'll have them separate though.  I wanted to do a look that didn't use so many colors from the Sleek Makeup Acid palette.  I picked three colors and stuck to it.

Nails done? OH YEAH! Check!

I went super simple today.  More of nail art block mixed with laziness!  I did acid wash grunge nail tips.  You can find the tutorial on my blog.

Polishes Used:
  • Orly Bonder Base Coat
  • Milani High Speed Fast Dry Black Swift
  • Milani Nail Lacquer Beach Front
  • Milani High Speed Fast Dry Yellow Whiz
  • China Glaze Sun Worshiper
  • Milani High Speed Fast Dry Violet Dash
  • Milani High Speed Fast Dry Fast Fuchsia
  • China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat
When you're one nail art block, what do you do?  Do you leave it one coat color?  Grab shatter polish?

L.o.t.D. Oh Hello Bright Eyes

Sleek Makeup's iDivine Acid Palette, is one of my favorite palettes to work with.  I love how bright the colors are in it.  When ever it is gloomy outside, I grab these to brighten up my day.
